• The application was working correctly, however when buddymeet plugin loads on the group page before you enter the meeting it states that I need to give it access to my camera and microphone. I’ve checked the settings and my site already has access to my camera and microphone. Equally if I change the settings and reset permissions to ask me again, when the page loads I’m not prompted to give access to camera or microphone. Clicking on the icons on the video windows does nothing. Can you give me some advice?

    Thanks in advance.

  • I am experiencing the same problem. Video and audio were both working fine a week ago but now it’s telling me that I need to grant permission. How do I do that?

    Hello and happy new year,

Please ensure you access your WordPress site via HTTPS, not HTTP. If the issue persists, check your browser’s permissions. There might be a change in your browser’s privacy policy or settings causing the problem.

Here are some quick tests we suggest performing to identify the cause of the issue:

    1. Attempt to access your site using an incognito/private tab in your browser. If it works there, it indicates a caching issue, suggesting that at some point in the past, access was denied, and your browser remembers this.
    2. Try accessing your site using a different browser. If it works there, it’s likely that there has been a change in the privacy settings of your primary browser. In that case, you’ll need to review and thoroughly check the privacy settings.

    Thanks,

    The Support Team
