    Hi,

Thanks for your comments/tests about version 2.0.0-beta1 and interest about this plugin.

Actually you need to edit the file to do this:

Actually my reply still applies in this case. If i understand well, you uploaded a file into a group and want to move this file into a folder of this group.

So as long as you are the owner of the folder, you’ll be able to do it. Simply edit the file, change the privacy to Add to an existing folder, select a folder belonging to the group and “voilà”

One thing that should be improved is depending on the current scope, it should be possible to list the folders of the scope. For instance, in a group, you should be able to include any folder of the group or maybe restrict the folders to the one created in the group. I’ll need to think about it ??

I would like to keep using BuddyDrive. A question: when you write

“Simply edit the file, change the privacy to Add to an existing folder, select a folder belonging to the group and “voilà”

But I cannot find settings on 1.3.3 that allow me to “change the privacy” to anything!
( “Add to an existing folder” does not appear as an option.)

Instead I get the following message
“Privacy of this item rely on its parent folder” [since you ask, correct English = “relies”]

Are you describing how 2.0 will work?

Absolutely, this topic was to announce BuddyDrive 2.0.0 is available for testing.

It should be available in a few days, so it could be a good idea to test the RC on a testing env. (if you can). Here’s the link to the RC

    OK, great!

One more question/suggestion: 1.3.3 does not connect to BuddyPress notifications.

This means that, for example, ten people can upload files to their groups, and I hear nothing about it: the groups appear inactive.

Obviously not crucial, but would be a nice feature (I use BuddyPress to teach classes).
