BuddyBoss – Social Networks Field Import

Sorry BuddyBoss is not a free plugin and this is not easy to manage for us.

Have you tried if the problem is the same with another “socialnetworks” link?

Hi Javier, thanks for the reply, I’m happy to provide a copy of BuddyBoss since we’re looking to provide a useful feature for the community. Please provide an email if you would like to check or I can WhatsApp a link via your website.

I tested adding another social network and exported the user. The column comes out as: LinkedIn Profile (since I name it this way)

The values came out together separated by a comma:

I will try to check it in BuddyPress and tell you if this work there.

Then I will try to get a BuddyBoss copy and check it there.

Anyway remember this is a free plugin and I cannot do it as soon as you may need.

Hello, I’m just checking in on this and wondering if there is anything I can do to help.

This is how the data appears in the database:

The name of “LinkedIn Profile” we have set, it could easily be “Social Profiles”

And the data would be like this:

a:1:{s:8:”twitter”;s:25:”https://www.twitter.com/”;}

etc…

Sorry but I am really busy and this issue is a truly unique problem. Of all our users, few use BuddyPress or BuddyBoss, let alone need to manage this data.

We will do it but it’s something I can’t prioritize.

No problem at all, will have to manually do these parts. Your plugin is still a great help.
