• Good Afternoon All,

    I was wondering if anyone could help me, I really need a seaerch function on my community area.

    I have installed the BuddyBoss Global Search plugin, activiated it and set the areas I want to be ‘searchable’ in the settings.

    Q. Where is this plugin supposed to be displayed? I ebvisioned you would add it as a widget perhaps to the side bar, or above the activity stream (site wide activity) for example but it is not listed in the widget options. I have tested this on athe ‘Twenty Sixteen’ theme too but no luck.

    – WP – Version 4.6.1
    – Site – https://www.studentmotorsport.com (You wont be able to access community areas as it is restricted to members only but I can remove this restriction for anyone wanting to see the error
    )
    – Theme – MSocial by GavickPro
    – RTMedia is installed

    I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Regards JP

    You can use default search widget inside sidebar or header.

    Good Morning BuddyBoss,

    Thank you for the advice.

    I have added the search box to my side bar. Is there any functionality so that I am able to search the member types for example?

    Thank you for your support.

    With regards

    JP
