BuddyBoss/BuddyPress Profile Type

    I am attempting to import Profile Types for BuddyBoss profiles. I am currently saving my .csv with column name as “Profile Type” and row data as a string “Bull Rider” (one of the profile types). I’ve tried other format, such as bull-rider, bull rider, but none of them seems to work. How can I configure the csv correctly to import the Profile Types?

    Could you show me what’s a Profile type in BuddyPress? I cannot find what is it.

    @kmlee3 Did you ever get this right? I’ve tried the meta key bp_member_type but it doesn’t seem to work. Can’t get the gender meta key to work either.

    bp_member_type is not a meta key, this is a complex data created by BP.

    Currently, you can export this data but not import it.

    We are working in making it compatible also with import.

    oh, yes we have done it. I did not remember it:

    We use bp_set_member_type so you have to use there the profile type.

    Surely, BP admit there the slug.
