Hi, yes both are latest version

@themosaurus – yes, also confirm that all platforms, themes, plugins, etc are updated to their latest version. Including WordPress 6.0. Problem still persists.

I am having the same issue. It shows up next to the name in direct messages as well as in emails sent from the site.

@avmllc, could you create another topic about the issue with the emails, please? This way, we’ll be able to discuss it as it is different from the original issue from this topic. Could you gives us more information? Which mail exactly?

@themosaurus – it would seem that the additional issue @avmllc has identified is connected to the original issue as the same “span” code is what’s visible when the verified badge “breaks”.

Concerning the badge in the recent/newest/active members widget, there is definitely an issue in our plugin which will be fixed in the next update. We’ll be back to you as soon as the update is available.

Concerning the badge in the private message, I’m afraid we’re not able to reproduce this issue. All seems to work fine on our side. Are you using BP Better Message plugin?

@themosaurus that’s great news. look forward to that update. perhaps the fix will also apply to private messages and emails. No, we are not using BP Better Message, we are just using the standard built in BuddyPress messaging. I will create a new topic since it appears you’ll be closing out the originally-reported issue on this thread soon.

We have just released a new update of Verified Member Login for BuddyPress. Updating this plugin to the latest version should fix this issue.

After the update, the problem should now be fixed. However, you might still be seeing the issue because your browser cache is showing you an older version of the page (browsers do that to load pages faster). To see that the issue is resolved you will need to empty your browser cache and reload the page. If you want to read more on what browser cache is and how to clear it, here is an article that might help you: How to Clear Internet Cache in Every Major Browser.
