Buddy Boss Wp Mail SMTP Breaks Activation Emails

    Hi,

    I’m using the Buddy Boss Theme and I’d love to use WP Mail SMTP, but when the plugin is active, activation emails are not sent to new users. When I deactivate the plugin activation emails work again when creating a new account. Do you know the most likely reason why this problem would occur?

  • Hi Alyssa,

    When you get a chance, could you please share the details:

    1) The mailer you’re using.
    2) If the test email is sending, if not please provide full error log after sending test email from WP Mail SMTP > Email Test.
    3) ‘From Email’ field in WP Mail SMTP and the plugin sending activation emails. This should match.
