    Our webshop adds a gateway fee of € 0,25 when a customer pays with iDeal (in the Netherlands). In the order the gateway fee of € 0,23 is shown (the shop has a BTW (VAT) fee of 9%. But the BTW itself (€ 0,02) is not added to the total amount of the BTW of all products. This makes the order not compliant with the regulations. What could be the cause? Is the amount of € 0,02 too small?

    Apologies for the delayed response.

    The amount of the fee shoud not matter. But the feed are always calculated with taxes included (standard tax rate).

    I suggest reaching out to the Mollie Support Team?directly with a screenshot of your tax configuration and behavior for more guidance. Thanks!

    Hi, the Mollie support team has not been able to help me. Could it be a rounding issue of the plugin, so that 0,02 is rounded to 0?

    We have tested this with a higher gateway fee and higher tax percentage to make sure that rounding to 0 is not the issue. The problem continues; the gateway fee is added without tax, but the tax itself is not added. As a result, the customer pays the gateway fee without tax. The support team is looking into this, but it looks like a bug.

    Still no answer from the support team. In our process this bug ocurs when the order starts with bacs payment method and at the payment page the user selects iDeal (via Mollie). Looks like the same bug as ported in this thread.

    Apologies for getting back just now.

    As mentioned in the other thread, the team reproduced this issue and is looking into providing a fix for it with the next update.
    There are a few problems with how the fees are handled in more recent WooCommerce versions, and we’re looking into updating the functionality to work again as expected over the course of the next couple of updates.

    As mentioned in the other thread, our team has successfully reproduced the issue and is working on a solution, which we plan to include in our next update. We’ve noticed a few challenges with how fees are managed in the recent WooCommerce versions, and we’re committed to enhancing the functionality to ensure it performs as expected in our forthcoming updates.
