My site, Offenburger.com, was experiencing multiple brute force attacks – which have stopped after I downloaded your plug-in. But then last week I noticed that none of the pictures embedded in the articles are showing up – all I can see is a blue question mark in an otherwise empty square.

The only major changes I have made to my site in the past couple of weeks would be adding your plug-in and downloading WordPress 4.0. When I emailed my hosting provider they responded that I might have a plug-in adding custom code to my .htaccess file. Is this something that BruteProtect does?

Nope, BruteProtect does not modify your .htaccess file– there are some other tools that are able to do that.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Sam! The developer of the photo plug-in I use sent out an update yesterday and that fixed the issue I was having. I appreciate the response!
