WordFence login security features don’t seem to work.

I have just run a dozen admin login attempts from another IP address and there is nothing registering to say that the IP is blocked or stopping the IP from trying more attempts with admin or other user names.

    No email message comes through.

Nothing is listed on the blocked IPs list.

The login screen continues to be available for attack.

    My settings include:
    * Alert when an IP address is blocked
    * Alert when someone is locked out from login
    * Lock out after 6 login failures
    * Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as admin

    Could you please advise.

The firewall option is checked on the options page, right? Also can you try sending yourself a test email message with the link at the bottom of the options page and let me know if you get it (can take a few minutes to get so be patient).

Yes firewall option is on. Test mail works.

I’m assuming you have no other login plugins if any kind? If that’s the case can you go to the live traffic page and if nothing is visible there, enable the JavaScript Console. Look for any red errors and send a screenshot.

There were no other login plugins.

The attempted logins don’t show in the live traffic area.

I used different browsers for each IP but neither shows a JS error.
