I’m getting tons (100+ today) of “brute force attack” alerts from an IP that is blocked (blacklisted) using another plugin, Loginizer.

    I have two questions:
    – is there any danger from these attacks? Assuming the IP blacklist works, it seems there isn’t.
    – if there is no danger, would it be possible for Sucuri to suppress the alerts? That is, report brute force attempts only from not-blacklisted IPs?

These are just too many emails!

    Thanks

    álvaro

I am not familiar with this other plugin, so can’t tell much if it is working or not.

And yes, if you go to settings , you can choose what alerts to send via email. Just disable the email alerts for failed logins and you should be good.

    thanks,
