Brute Force attack IP
-
I have been getting this message in the last 5 hours. 80 emails with 950 attempts in each message. That is almost 80,000 login attempts.
They’ve been trying the admin username (which is the first thing I delete on a WP install). I am more concerned about their attempts. Is there a Triary level of security that could be put on – such as CAPTCHA after so many tries?
I am also confused about that IP address. Can you have a 3 set IP? Is there an error with it?
Please advise.
