My admin User name is being used to try and fluke the password. Every 10 minutes there is another attempt; always, it seems with a different IP address. This is presumably a workaround the plugins that limit login attempts. If it is set for a different time limit the unique (as in use) IP looks like another User.
I could try redirection but I’m thinking just creating another administrator with an unusual user name and either suspend or entirely delete my present user name.
To do this I’d like to transfer my current forum contributions to the new User name.
I have very reliable and frequent backups both on the server and downloaded to an external hard drive so I’m covered to that extent. I can test this procedure by using a duplicate installation on CPanel but I thought I would mention it here first, just in case my reasoning is flawed, or there may be better ways.

    Hello @malaser

Currently it is only possible to assign posts/topics to another user when you delete a specific user.

If you are used to use database-query I can provide you a snippet to do it manually inside of the database. Just let me know.
