I’m very sorry for the inconvenience. This is happening because of some test data I had forgotten to remove from the update. If you remove the plugin and download it again, everything should be fine in Internet Explorer as well. All your slideshows should remain intact.

Thanks. It seems to be working now.

    Stefan:

I’m having the exact same problem on my site:

    https://SuperChangeYourLife.com

I tried what you suggested and it didn’t work.

I even uninstalled and installed the previous version and that didn’t work either.

I’ve now updated to the latest version, but something’s not loading properly on IE8 and on IE9.

The site works great with Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

Any help or suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

IE has been driving me crazy over this one . . .

    Thanks

I “think” I figured out the problem.

For some reason, the Javascript in my sidebar is conflicting with the Slideshow.

When I switched to a full page template and removed the sidebar, the Slideshows work fine.

I just need to do some reprogramming of the layout on the page and I think I can fix things.

    Thanks for a great plugin.

I spoke too soon. I thought I had the problem fixed, but it’s still there.

Everything works fine on Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

The slideshows do NOT work properly in IE 8 or IE 9

    I haven’t tested it in IE7 or IE10

It’s happening on 2 pages on my site:

    https://SuperChangeYourLife.com
    and
    https://superchangeyourlife.com/giving-back-to-the-community/

If you have any suggestions or ideas, I would certainly appreciate your help.

    Thank you.

    Hi Superchange,

Is the slideshow deactivated at the moment? I don’t seem to be able to find the slideshow on your website.

    Bestr regards,
    Stefan

Yes. I gave up on it.

There’s some javascript conflict between my theme; my menu plugin and your plugin.

    Thanks

That’s a shame. I hope you’ll find a slideshow that works for your website soon!

    Hi,
I’m having this too. As far as I can tell it just started despite using the slide show for a month. I don’t use IE so a reader alerted me to the issue. When I added it a month or so ago it checked out in all browsers.
Anyhow I tried removing it and reinstalling but the issue is still there. I have one in my sidebar and one in my widget area above my posts. It is awesome in all other browsers but about 1/5 of my readers use IE so I’ve got to have something that works there too. My computer won’t let me upgrade to IE 10 so I don’t know about that (some hardware incompatibility issue).

Do you have any other ideas? I really want this to work.

    Hi,

Thanks for reporting this. Due to the strict HTML doc-type your theme uses Internet Explorer can’t read the slideshow’s stylesheets, which are located on the page.

I’ll try to fix the issue in version 2.2.12.

    Best regards,
    Stefan

Hi I also have problems with this plugin on IE, explained in this topic

“I used this plugin on this site, and it works almost perfect. Thanks for this great plugin!

Only problem is that it doesn’t show correctly in IE (slideshow or images show to small). Anyone has an idea what I should do?
In all other browsers it shows correctly…

    Thanks!
