Browser Crashes – Can’t Upload Images…

  • Please help, I have been at this for a couple hours now with no luck.
    I followed a lot of the “can’t upload images” topics with no luck as well.

    I have no idea what the problem is, I had to create a new .htaccess file, i created my own “uploads” folder, everything has the right permissions, but I have had no success.
    It either does nothing when i click the upload button or it crashes my browser. Those are the only 2 responses I have gotten..

    I recently uploaded the latest version of WP. I never got around to really using it before so I just deleted everything that had to do with the first WP I installed and started from scratch. Before the upload images worked now, no dice…

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

    Oh by the way I have been using the Safari browser if that helps in finding my problems.. thanks..

    I realize this may not be an ideal suggestion, but have you tried the same thing with Firefox?

    Thanks for the reply, got firfox up and running and was able to upload the image. I guess it was a safari thing in the end….
