Browser compatibility. internet explorer, navagation not working

  • hi there i have created a theme for my wordpress site.
    im having trouble with the navigation in internet explorer my menu keeps picking up the colors i have set for a link instead of my nav colors my menu works perfecty well in sefari, firefox but internet explorer is driving me crazy…
