I’m sorry to hear about your trouble! That shouldn’t be happening… I just checked and was able to download/extract/upload WooCommerce I downloaded from https://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/ .

What I’ve done is uploaded WooCommerce 2.1.11 as of 6/16/14 so you can download it through either one of these links:

Note that this link won’t stay up to date, so any releases past 2.1.11 will not be found here.
