Broken WP site

  • Hello,
    A little while ago I created a website for a friend and in the process broke my own blog. What happened is that I had a subdomain on my domain where I prepared his site, then when he was happy I transferred to his own domain, except that by accident I changed the URL of my blog in the back office and since then it’s a bit of a nightmare to get my site back to work.
    I tried fixing the login.php and index.php files but wasn’t successful. I’m sure it’s something very simple that I need to do but I’m not an expert so I need some help.

    My URL is : https://www.handymarketer.com and you will see that some pages point to https://www.trg.handymarketer.com

  • If you can reach your admin, change:

    Site Address (URL)
    WordPress Address (URL)

    both of which can be found in General Settings.

    If you can’t log in, you can change them in phpmyadmin.

    What did you do to index.php and wp-login.php?
