• I have a shared host with 2 sites
    1) addon domain site.com
    2) subdomain sub.site.com

    I installed WP-Crontrol to see wp-cron.
    Only on 1) it says
“There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron jobs on your site may not work. The problem was:
    Couldn’t resolve host ‘site.com'”

I have cloudflare on both sites.
    What could be wrong?

  • We can probably take a look with the specifics via a CloudFlare support ticket. We really need to know the domain and subdomains at play here.

CloudFlare support don’t think it’s anything to do with CloudFlare
Actually after moving DNS to the host and back to CF now I get also

“There was a problem spawning a call to the WP-Cron system on your site. This means WP-Cron jobs on your site may not work. The problem was:
Operation timed out after 3001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received”

“Actually after moving DNS to the host and back to CF now I get also”

You had this issue not using CloudFlare? That’s how I’m reading this. That would mean issue on your server and/or with the plugin. Have you contacted the plugin author for possible causes? It might be easier to figure out that way to see if we are/aren’t impacting.
