Broken Version 4.8.0.0

  • Just upgraded the plugin. It broke my website with an error 500

    [22-Jun-2016 21:40:27 Indian/Mauritius] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function lib3() in ***/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popup/inc/class-popup-public.php on line 187

    Please advise???

  • If you haven’t solved it yet, go to your WordPress files and change the name of the wordpress-popup folder to deactivate the plugin. That will make your site work again. I’m now waiting for an update without the bug.

    Hi davidcommarmond,

    It looks like there was some connection issue during the upload of 4.8.0.0 version, we have reuploaded it in the meantime so try simply reinstalling it and it should work after that.

    “INTERNAL SERVER ERROR 500” usually means that plugin is using too much virtual memory, if you contact your hosting company, they can increase that for you.
