    Hi There,

We have installed the free version of the Media Cleaner plugin.

We have set it to filter images only – Restricts the scan to images. Nothing else will be scanned.

When we perform a scan on the dashboard and view the results, the title and path to each entry for removal is configured as such: https://blackfriars.sa.edu.au/wp-admin/post.php?post=1220&action=edit. When clicking on these links it provided a 404 error page because the path does not exist. The plugin should be referencing these images via the following path i.e. /wp-content/uploads/..

Is this an issue with the plugin? Please advise.

The plugin removes the images from the media library but the linking function does not seem to be working.

Another question: When the issues/results provide the following i.e.
2019/09/BlackFriars-Jun20198165_HiRes.jpg (+ 9 files) does this mean there is 9 versions of this file that can be removed? Please advise.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

This link is supposed to redirect you to the Media Edit page, not to the file directly. What I don’t understand is why this link is wrong; it looks fine to me here, do you gave a specific set up?

A media entry is actually composed of many files (the original file + all the thumbnails), so that’s why there are 10 files in total here. And yes, they will be all removed ??

Hi Jordy, the Media Library page on this website is: https://blackfriars.sa.edu.au/wp/wp-admin/upload.php

I’ve performed a re scan in Media Cleaner and the Origin and Title Path links are still referencing URLS such as https://blackfriars.sa.edu.au/wp-admin/post.php?post=1220&action=edit

The media edit url for a file should be https://blackfriars.sa.edu.au/wp/wp-admin/upload.php?item=1220

The website permalinks is configured to be set by post name.

We have our wordpress installation located not within the root directory of our hosting which might be the cause, but we cannot change this.

I am not sure what else we can do. What do you suggest?
