I uploaded a theme to my blog but it appears to be incomplete. In the broken theme section I get message

    wucoco-two-column-0100 Stylesheet is missing

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

    The theme is wucoco-two-column-0100 https://themes.wordpress.net/index.php?s=wucoco

The folder I uploaded to is myblog.com/wp-content/themes/

I searched through this forum and found what may be the answer, about having the correct path, etc.

For example this is incorrect I think

    /myblog.com/wp-content/themes/wucoco-two-column-0100/wucoco-two-column-0100/

However what do I do to make sure it’s the corect path? No one seems to give the procedure as to how to do this and make it correct.

I am using FileZilla to FTP.

    Anyone!

  • Make sure your themes are uploaded as per this example:

Yes, I understand that they have to be uploaded so that there is not a double name.

What I want to know is “how do I do that?’

I’m using FileZilla for FTP. I right click the file on my computer, upload it to my blog to /myblog.com/wp-content/themes/

Or must I do it another way? Is there something I’m doing wrong?

    Ok, I resolved this issue.

The mistake I was making was opening the theme files on my FTP before sending them to my blog. Therefore the path was wrong. I repeated procedure by just uploading it without opening it.

Glad to hear you got it now. :);) Happy Blogging!
