    Hello everyone,
i’m running Version 6.8.1 of the free event plugin. After the update to WordPress 6.7 the plugin is no longer usable. When I open an event, the blocks for price, date, address, … the following error appears: This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.
The problem occurs with all created events. The display in the front end is still error-free and correct. There are no errors in the log.

    Hi @wanderfalke79 ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We’ve seen this situation happening in some WordPress environments, and found that most of these environments had define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true); in their wp-config.php file. In that regard, kindly inspect your wp-config.php file, and see if removing or commenting the said definition line alleviates the situation for you.

    Hi @atousanajafi,

Is this going to be fixed in a future release?

Putting SCRIPT_DEBUG on false is a temporary fix, since we need SCRIPT_DEBUG on true for local development.

    Thank you in advance,

    Yvette

    Hello,

We have just released a fix that was causing TEC/ET blocks to break (bug ticket TEC-5322) and display the error “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”.

We ask that you update your plugins to the latest version(s) to take advantage of this:

    The Events Calendar 6.10.0
    Event Tickets 5.19.0 (if applicable)

As always, we recommend testing out the updates in a staging file before pushing it to production.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
