Greetings @medard22, @barrywales, @lwvorlwvororg, @shewter, @carldowse,
We are extremely sorry for all the inconvenience that you faced. There was a slight glitch that was unnoticed in the previous update which caused the issue. However, the issue has been identified and resolved. We are preparing for the release of the new version of the plugin with the patch. The latest version(version no. 1.8.2.1) is supposed to be released in an hour or so from the time I am writing this reply.
Please update to the latest version of the plugin as soon as the mentioned version is live.
Regarding the update process for those users who are not able to log in, please log in to your Cpanel account and delete the User Registration Plugin folder from wp-content/plugins by browsing in your file manager.
If you are unable to do so or feel a difficulty then you can ask your hosting provider to delete the plugin from the plugins folder.
After successfully deleting the plugin, you can log into your site by visiting yoursite.com/wp-admin or yoursite.com/wp-login with your admin account. After getting into the site, you can then install the latest version by clicking on Add New in the Plugins section. You will be good to go after installing the new version and everything will be back on track.
One more thing, you won’t have to worry about any data loss. Your data is totally secured and you will be able to see everything once you install the latest version(v1.8.2.1).
Finally, we are sorry again for the uninvited trouble. I hope you guys understand.
Regards!
