• Hello everyone,

I have had this problem for a while but now that I want to change the design of my site, I need to fix it. Whenever I install a new theme and I go to theme options, most of the options for theme are missing. This thing happens with most of the themes.

So, I disabled all my plugins and the problem still happens. So I created a test subdomain, installed wordpress and all themes work fine. So I reinstalled wordpress without losing any data. (replaced all core wordpress files) and the problem still persists.

So you have any idea what is causing this? Please reply because I haven’t been able to find an answer.

Could you post a screenshot of what you’re seeing here? https://snag.gy

There are simply missing a lot of options. For example, if a theme has inside its settings an option called layouts and I click it, it should list all the available layouts. But when I click it it shows no layouts available. The same thing has happened with other themes from www.remarpro.com. The weird thing is that when I did a fresh WordPress install on test.site.com subdomain, it was working fine. Every theme that I was having problems was fine there. I reinstalled wordpress still nothing.

Can you try checking your browser’s console log for errors?

For example, could you name a theme option that is missing?

When you go to theme settings and choose theme layouts, the drop down menu should be like Homepage 1, Home page 2 until Home page 9. Instead, it only says Default Template. And the weird thing is that the widgets do not appear too. I put all the widgets on the widgets section but they do not appear on the site.

Can you get to your server’s error logs? If so, can you see if anything theme related shows up?

I went ahead and took a look at my server error log. The only thing about the theme is the following:

ModSecurity: Failed to access DBM file “/var/asl/data/msa/ip”: Resource deadlock avoided

    And the destination folder is

    /wp-content/themes/theme-name/library/includes/images/layout/image.png

    Does the log above help?
