• Greetings. I’ve spent the last hour or so going through the forums and couldn’t find anything for my particular problem.

    Here’s my setup:
    win2k server
    apache 2.0.63
    php 5.2.12
    mysql 5.0
    WordPress 2.9

    Here’s the situation:
Everything was working great. I know that will come as a shock to you “don’t use windows” people out there, but if you’re smart enough to run apache/mysql/php on windows everything works great. Still, I would rather run on linux, but that’s another story. In any case, I had a crash. Motherboard fried. I replaced it, but in the process of frying it took out my boot drive as well, I had to reinstall the OS. I was able to backup my httpd.conf, php.ini and mysql.ini files and used those after I reinstalled everything. Now everything works except for one thing: Pretty permalinks don’t work anymore. I just get a 404 error when I try to use them. Any ideas on how to fix this? I checked and double checked, mod_rewrite is loading, and the .htaccess file is properly configured.
