Broken on WordPress 4.0

  • I just upgraded our site to WordPress 4.0 and the Simple Email Subcription to 2.2. I get the following text above the Subscription widget:

    It seems that it’s incompatible with the new version of WordPress. Do you have a target date for updating the plugin to be compatible?

    Hi:

    by the look of this error, doesn’t it mean that there’s something wrong with your server, which has permission issue to open the plugin? rather than the plugin itself has a problem?

    because it works on mine 4.0 ??
