broken mail2list plugin or broken wordpress?

  • Hi,
    am trying your mail2list plugin first time and didn’t get that far (yet).
    i enabled the plugin successfully and got the “Mail2List” item in the left admin pane.
    by some reason several subitems give me a blank page. these are “Mail2List” and “Manage Templates”. I get “New Mail” and “Options” but i can’t send a test email to e.g. the administrators.
    when trying to send a test email i can’t chose a template probably because i couldn’t create one in a step before. when trying to send the test email i get redirected to https://<my-domain>/wp-admin/&lt;? bloginfo(‘siteurl’); ?>/wp-admin/admin.php?page=mail2list/core/m2l_multi_send.php

    is there something wrong on my side?

  • maybe there was some bugs. I’ve just published the 1.0 version of the plugin. Wait untill it’ll became available and update it. Let me know if the problem persists after the update too.

    i updated to 1.0. no changes so far. i only get the “new mail” and “option” page to show up. the others remain blank white.
    i use 2.7.1 with german interface language. is there any other details that i could provide?

    i just did the unpack/upload/activate routine. is there anything in addition that i need to do in order to get it to work?

    I also received errors when trying to view the admin pages. To fix it I opened each of the problem files and replaced every instance of the PHP opening tag ‘<?’ with ‘<?php’ — the pages load correctly now. I’ll post back here if I encounter any other problems while testing it.

    This looked promising, but I’m getting nothing but errors when I try to create a mailing list. Time to try another plugin…

    found a better plug-in?

    a manual or clear explanation of how the plugin works would be helpful as well
