After this new update to version 1.6.16. All links on mobile are opening a menu at the bottom of the cell with all top menu options.

    Super strange.

Any ideas on what can be this?

Hey @andrecostainf, I just checked your website and everything seems to work fine.
Did you tried to clear your browser cache?

    Cheers.

Hi there, its just on mobile. It seems a problem with mobile menu. Try simulating mobile with crome and you will see it ??

    Cheers!

@andrecostainf I did so but everything is fine on my end.
Can you record and send a video or a screenshot?

@andrecostainf I still can’t reproduce this issue, I opened your website in mobile view in Chrome and I am clicking the images with a link and they are opened in a new tab – everything seems to be ok.
Are you using a caching plugin?

    Thanks!!

No caching plugins intstalled on the site yet.

Take a look at this gif:

Could be this new option added to this last version? Add option to disable the category label . Where is this option to try to disable/enable it?

    I had the previous version.

I’ve realized this strange behavior with a #offcanvas on the url too.

On the home screen, using cellphone. First click works and open a new tab.

If I come back to the home screen, and click something else that bottom menu starts to show.

    Never seen anything like this!

I’ve disabled a few plugins, and tried again. I could open several links in a row no errors. Then I’ve Alt+tab to another screen, then come back to the site, and then the error showed up.

    Hi again.

I had a default wordpress category widget with the dropdown option selected. This stuff was showing when I clicked anywere on the website, but kind of ramdomly. (only with cellphone)

No idea if was a imcompatibility with the theme or anything else on WP.

Thanks guys for your time, really appreciate it!

@andrecostainf thanks for the site credentials! With those in place, we finally managed to reproduce and understand the issue, we even managed to reproduce it on our side too now. It was indeed related to a recent change we did to the categories native widget.

I’ve implemented a fix for the issue on your site directly and we’ll also release it with the next update.

Gladly, everything’s resolved now, thanks for the reproduction steps!

    Best regards.

    Cool !

Can you tell us about the fix itself ? Curious about that :). Is the code at fit or something ?

    Best regards !

    Hey @andrecostainf,

Yes, it was related to a change we recently made to the categories widget — we made the <select> element a direct descendent to the <form> element, and because of that and the styles applied to it, the <select> got stretched to the viewport’s size, by mistake. That’s why a click on every element triggered the dropdown.

    Thankfully, that’s now gone.

    Best regards!
