Broken Link for posts and categories

  • I just set up my blog and things were running well until I changed my blog name. The front page and my first post on it show fine, but the link to the category and my first post are broken. I tried setting the permalink to default to no avail. What am i missing?

    Using the default wordpress theme. (Couldn’t unzip any other themes to upload) My RSS feed is not working either…

    As you have changed domain name; you need to change the embedded link to absolute path with old domain name..so it will resolve your issue. How to do that please refer this post:

    Taking the chance that I will sound completely clueless (which I pretty much am in these matters), where exactly do I go to change that?

    Trying to execute the query and I keep getting the Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage message.

    1) Can you tell me what is the filed name in “General Settings” you’ve changed and what was the initial value?

    A screenshot would be great.

    2) Can you provide a screenshot of your permalinks settings?
    Also make sure that you’ve given 766 rights to .htaccess file.

    I changed the name from ohwhatfunevents.com/blog to ohwhatfunevents.com/entertainingkids. I deleted my post and categories, disabled some plug ins, reposted, added the categoroes again and enabled plug ins, to see if that would help, but it didn’t.

    How do I give 766 rights to .htaccessfile?
