    Hello,
Under ‘link checking tools’ there’s a ‘check broken links’ button. Whenever I try this, I get a 504. (Not sure if related, but the duplicate link checker works fine.) My host isn’t that strict, and there’s only around 80 links. Are there any workarounds here, please?
    Thanks for a great plugin!
    Laura

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The two tools are very different. The duplicate checker just looks for entries with the same name or same URL on the server. The broken link checker tool goes out and tries to connect to each web site to see if they are working. A 504 error indicates a timeout. It may be that it is taking too long to check the links on your server configuration and the checking code times out. I will see if I can increase the timeout period programatically from the plugin code.

I just re-wrote the broken link checker so it now checks links one at a time. This should avoid the timeouts you were experiencing. Please update to latest version and let me know if it works better for you.
