  • Sorry, it’s pretty unlikely that would be added.

    • Most users want the plugin to check all posts. In fact, there are regular suggestions that it should be able to check more types of content (e.g. term descriptions or other plugin’s database tables).
    • The performance benefits of such a change would be relatively slim. The biggest performance hit is usually right after plugin activation, when BLC creates and populates its link database. This happens before you’ve had a chance to update plugin configuration, so it wouldn’t be affected by category settings.
