broken insert media buttons

  • My insert media buttons have not been working since I updated to 3.1

    I deleted the stats plugin that was supposed to be the culprit, but no luck.

    I disabled all plugins and I still have the same problem.

    I’m using firefox 4, but the problem also occurs in safari, leading me to beleive its not firefox.

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.
