Broken in current wordpress?

    With the new update to WordPress this plugin seems to not work anymore.

    Trying to select only a few images to put in a gallery in a post will post all the images uploaded in the media gallery for that particular post. Removing by hand the numbers of the unwanted images results in the gallery still not showing the proper photos in the gallery that you selected.

  • Am I reading your post right or does v.1.6.5.5 not fix the bug of inserting all gallery images no matter how many are selected?

    It doesn’t appear that any of these fixes:
    – correct position in editor when inserting content
    – update of gallery shortcode (instead of deletion) when gallery placeholder is clicked
    – File Gallery metabox items editing buttons visibility CSS bug

    Are for the bug were talking about. Is that correct?

    @bruceleeroy: it fixes that bug, don’t worry, it works just fine with the lastest WordPress version ??

    it was just a matter of replacing a few Javascript attr() function calls to prop() function calls, because of a jQuery update.

    we installed the 1.7-rc4 version of the plugin and the file gallery insert all image bug is fixed with this version.
    But another one is occuring: when you insert single images marked with link to file, it will link to the attachment site. For galleries the link to file option works fine.
    It is pretty annoying because of e.g. lightbox plugins don’t work anymore because the image files not pointing to the file aren’t recognized to be lightboxified…

    One simple workaround is to manually change the link in the html editor for all single images.
