Broken Images When Uploaded

  • Since Friday, 11/18/11, I have not been able to upload an image for an individual blog post. When I upload an image, the image comes back as broken.

    Does anyone have a clue as to why this happening. I need help ASAP, thanks in advance.

  • Check your uploads path in Settings -> Media.

    The upload path is blank.

    Have you checked (via FTP) to see if the images are being uploaded successfully?

    You said “since Friday” so have there been any changes to your site recently? Did you migrate servers, or perhaps add any new plugins/themes lately?

    Also a good idea to check and see if the images themselves are uploaded to the server (even if they don’t display in the media library) as Esmi suggests.
