    Hi,

LScache plugin is causing broken images on Safari. I’m not sure but it could be css optimization that provokes the issue ? Do you have a fix for that issue which must be common I suppose ?

    Thanks
    Samuel

    Hi,

if you can provide a screenshot , it would be great

I can’t provide you screenshot, but next time I will…

I thought it was a common issue and expected you would have a quick solution so I didn’t explained more. But as you can’t reproduce it for now, I’m going to explain it briefly :

I’ve seen broken image on safari few days ago (single images and logo in navigation), so here its what I did :

1 – I turned off some css optimization

I tried to “purge all” but it didn’t not make a difference so :

2 – I had to “Empty Entire Cache” and then images are displaying well

But as I don’t know which css optimization is causing the issue :

3 – I tried to turn back the css options on one by one.
4 – Between each activation I “empty entire cache” to see if it breaks again my images

Result : None of my images are broken anymore and configuration is back to “normal”…

So I’m telling me it’s weird, but hey it’s working so I’m going to let it go like this. But when I go back on my website the next day, it’s all broken again…

So I did all the tests once again, same result… and so here we are with a non broken images website that will be broken tomorrow.

But today, there is still one image that is broken even after my tests and purges and it’s a header image that is weird because normally it’s single image that is causing problems. You’ll find it here : https://destinationsudouest.com/visiter-la-bastide-clairence-pays-basque/

    Hi,

I see the issue now , the broken image is this

    https://destinationsudouest.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/la-bastide-clairence-pays-basque-plus-beaux-villages-france-3.jpg

it supposed to be image/jpeg , but your site serve it as image/webp

in which Safari does not support.

Try replace it with image/jpeg format , it should work then.

    Best regards,
