    Hello,

We are having an issue with broken images/thumbnails when people try to share using the Pinterest share button.

Most of our posts have at least 8 images that can be pinned, but when someone clicks to share on Pinterest, the “Choose a Pin to save” screen shows 2-4 images that are broken. The images are definitely there, we double checked, but they still show up broken.

Sometimes, if you refresh the page, this can fix the broken images, but then different images on the page appear to be broken.

When we tried to troubleshoot the issue by disabling our other plugins, we found that if the Tasty Pins plugin is disabled, then all of the images show when we click to share on Pinterest.

So, there seems to be a conflict with Sassy Social Share plugin and Tasty Pins plugin. The developers at Tasty Pins said that this is something they can’t fix. Instead, it has to be fixed by Sassy Social Share developers.

    Can you please help?

If you need more info, please let us know where we can send you an email.

    Thank you,
    M

    Hi,

Would you enable the Sassy Social Share plugin for a while so that I could check what’s wrong?

    Hello,

Yes, we do have Sassy Social Share plugin enabled on the website. Where can I send you private details so you can investigate further?

    Thanks,

When I try to access one of the images available for pinning, in the browser, I get the message shown in the image. It means the image appearing broken are not publicly accessible. Please check if there is any firewall or something active at your website.

    Hello,

We sent a response to your email along with a screenshot so you can see what we are talking about when the broken images come up. It is completely random what shows and what does not show each time we try to pin images from a post, but it is possible to pin broken images, so they are not being blocked as you showed in your screenshot.

All we can say for certain is that when we disable the Tasty Pins plugin, we no longer have broken images when we try to share on Pinterest, so that is how we know there is a conflict between the Sassy Social Share plugin and the Tasty Pins plugin.

    Thank you.
