Broken Image Replacing?

  • Hello, we have products that have broken images. We have tried a few plugins to replace those with standard image but none seem to work. Is there any recommendation to do this somehow through GeneratePress?

    Secondly, we were also trying to use a plugin to bulk generate category images by using any of the product images, but that doesn’t work either. The developer there says:

    I'm seeing more and more reports of incompatibilities with specific themes, which suggests to me that more and more themes are doing things "their own way" rather than using the standard WooCommerce hook for outputting the category thumbnail.

I do have another idea of how to implement the functionality in my plugin though that would hopefully be theme-agnostic, so keep your eyes peeled for an update.

In the mean time, I'm afraid my plugin probably isn't compatible with your theme.

    Hi there,

    It looks to me, the image link itself is incorrect. Can you try switching to the twenty twenty one theme to test?

    21 actually removes my menu but 22 doesn’t work with the images either. We do offload those images but it should work or not work and I was just looking for a way to catch any that do this. I guess I could manually replace but there are a lot of these as we import the data.

    So it looks like the data itself is not correct.

    If that’s the case, I don’t think there’s a way to make it work.
