• I created a subdomain for the purpose of setting up a new replacement site out of the eyes of the public. I installed Genesis, following these directions: https://www.nutsandboltsmedia.com/how-to-create-a-test-site-for-customizing-your-genesis-child-theme/

All of my uploaded images in the subdomain are going to the root wp-content/uploads instead of my subdomain/wp-content/uploads. I have spent every configuration in the Settings>Media>uploading files area. Example:

*Store uploads in this folder: wp-content/uploads, also have tried the full server path
    *full url path: https://subdomain.mainsite.org

I have flushed my cache. I did not disable plugins, I didin’t have that many on this new install. The htaccess is the default WordPress htacess. I messed with it with code I found on the internet, but no success, so I put it back. I am not experienced with htaccess, but not afraid to enter in there.

I am wondering because the manner I duplicated the content from the main site if there is a setting that is still pointing to the root file that I need to change?

    Many thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
