I tried to set the e-mail encoding to 8bit or Base 64 in the Newsletter plugin Advanced Settings, but e-mails still arrive as 8bit common header for the whole email and quoted-printable for HTML part of the email. The result is missing images, links and lost formatting except bold and italic. Please help!

Are you using an SMTP plugin to deliver emails from your blog?

Yes, I am using Newsletter – SMTP Addon Version 1.0.3 By The Newsletter Team.

I also tried the Easy WP SMTP plugin, and it picks up 8bit or Base 64 common header for the whole email depending on the plugin e-mail encoding settings. But I still see that quoted-printable always appears for some reason for the HTML part of the email. I believe the plugin should set the same header for both – common header for the whole email and for HTML part of the email and quoted-printable header should not appear in the HTML part of the e-mail when I select 8bit or Base 64 encoding setting.
