Been fighting with WPEC 3.8.9.2/3 for about a week. Checkout page disappears if there’s content in the cart & shipping is turned on. I’m not finding any errors thrown or anything. I’ve got it on both staging and production servers and tested with zero other plugins on Twenty Eleven theme. Just plain ol junking out on me. Am I the only one??

  • Don’t know if you guys saw this, but wpec released a new version today that supposedly fixed the blank checkout bug and adds compatibility with wp 3.5.

Thanks Andrew, the new version does work. Now I wish I hadn’t spent the last couple of days putting together a WooCommerce checkout… Oh well, this is good news anyway!

I’ll be setting up another test site for this, I’d love to see WPEC become stable & reliable! Thanks Andrew

Hi KarlEngstrom, the WP e-Commerce team are working hard to stabilise all of the functionality within the core Plugin, we’re very sorry it took so long to get Checkout fixed for this issue.

oh! it doesn’t work for me! i’m so sad! when i upgraded everything (wordpress 3.5 wpec 3.8.9.5, and the latest gold cart) the checkout stopped working. it’s not blank, it redirects to the front page.

at first, the products weren’t working, but fixing my permalinks seems to kind of have fixed that. i say kind of because the url of my products changed from https://boneflowerbotanika.com/bf/elixirs-syrups/ to https://boneflowerbotanika.com/elixirs-syrups/

i have tried to get the checkout to work by putting the /bf/ into the url, but no dice. any thoughts?

I am pretty sure the error has to do with the Country field in the checkout tab of WPEC store settings.

The country field is a dropdown that captures both country and state. That information is not passing over to PayPal correctly.

If you try deactivating the country tab and state tabs and then reactivating them then you might be able to get it to work. If not, deactivate them and create your own new tabs for country and state.

Lastly, make sure you go into the ‘Payment’ tab and under the Paypal settings you have the country and state fields lined up correctly with the corresponding fields.

    Hope this all makes sense
