I’m seeing that the paypalobjects.com hosted image does seem to be down, which is odd. I’ve reached to my technical support rep at PayPal to see about this.

Setting your own custom image, though, should work fine. You may need to clear any caching / CDN services you have in WordPress or on the server directly.

Please look into that and let me know if you still can’t get your custom image to load properly.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve tried resetting caches but no luck so far. I’ve recently added an SSL certificate to the site – might that cause this sort of problem?

Upon further review, it seems that there simply isn’t a en_GB version of those buttons, so that’s why it’s coming up not found.

We’ll need to make an adjustment to account for that sort of thing, but again, if you set your own custom image that should be showing up. Did you try that again and you still can’t get your own image to work?

I also have this problem, it only started today.
I don’t know how to add my own images.
Could you tell me how I can fix this?

@dawnjohn, in the Express Checkout settings is an option to adjust the PayPal button image to PayPal hosted image, text only, or your own custom image. When you choose to use your own image it will let you upload one or choose one via the WP media manager.

Let me know if you can’t find it.

Thanks for the quick reply – I don’t know how I missed that!
    Cheers

I’ve now found the correct setting and managed to add a custom image. Thanks for your help and quick response. ??
