• Last week my website was getting a higher ammount of traffick than usual (4x) after a lot of time without being able to rank properly at Google and Bing, I got a notification asking me to update this plugin. I did it and today I got an error and a notification letting me know it disabled a couple things from my web because it may conflict with it.
Honestly, I was using it just to create my sitemap so I didn’t doubt to uninstall it and now I’m paying a professional to fix the error I received.
So it didn’t just messed with my rank at search engines but also costed me money I wasn’t thinking to spend during the pandemic at the end of the year and after holidays spends were already made…

  • I am in the same boat.. I am going to uninstall this FRiday, install Yoast, then spend my entire weekend trying to correct the SEO nightmare created by the plugins removal..

On top of this, the recent wordpress update is also breaking a lot of websites, so yet another mess on the horizon to deal with.
