As it’s been HOURS since I reported the issue to SiteGround and I haven’t had a solution, I wanted to ask you directly.

    1) The plugin got my websire unaccesible and returning 502 errors.

    2) After backing it up I got to have the web up, but images and post content are not showing.

    3) Cloudflare is paused.

HOW can I have still problems if I restored a FTP + data base backup from 2 days ago (I installed the plugin yerterday) and Cloudflare is paused? It makes 0 sense.

Any idea of how can I fix this?

Siteground support doesn’t say anything, neither through their expensive* phone support.

I was able to have the images and content back again reactivating nginx and memcached (plus a back up of my old .htaccess)

    But still can’t believe this.

A SG plugin that breaks my whole site, backups that don’t work and a SiteGround support that doesn’t do ANYTHING FOR HOURS, not even replying.

    Very concerning.

There is a fatal error from other plugins including W3TC but not related to the SG Optimizer. Please, contact the SiteGround Support if you need immediate assistance with your site.

It is absolutely normal to wait for 24 hours or more for a bug report in the plugin forum since it is not designed to handle urgent problems.

I did contact support 3 hours ago. Still waiting for the senior support to explain 1) why my site broke after installing YOUR plugin 2) why restoring the backups didn’t work 3) Why a problem like this in a web like this takes more than 3 hours to fix 4) Why the own client need to fix the problem itself and 5) Why the support don’t even reply when there is urgency, so I can take actions like pointing the DNS to my old server.

Ps. I wasn’t talking about the plugin support.
