• Hello, I am a contributor to the righttoknow website, which is created in wordpress with elementor. The website owner notified me that the images on the /books/ page have recently broken and asked me to try and figure out why. The images are displayed with HTML code blocks. An example would be:

    <a  target="_blank">

    <img border="0" src="https://ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?_encoding=UTF8&ASIN=1516592913&Format=_SL250_&ID=AsinImage&MarketPlace=US&ServiceVersion=20070822&WS=1&tag=rootssummit-20&language=en_US" ></a>

    <img src="https://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=rootssummit-20&language=en_US&l=li3&o=1&a=1516592913" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

    These were apparently fine in the past and have only recently stopped working. I’ve been trying to find any forum posts with similar issues to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • The domain https://ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com used for the images does not exist (anymore). You would need to contact the advertising provider to find out what the new addresses for the images are.

    Hi @theskipper1995,

    I would suggest that you download the image and upload it to the media library of your WordPress website instead.

    Next, copy the URL of your image in your Medial library and use it as the source for your image tag in your HTML code block.

    Please try the recommended suggestion and let me know how it goes.

    Thanks

    Hi @jerrymayalor555,

    Downloading the images and uploading them to the media library is indeed what we ended up doing and it seems to work just fine.

    Thanks!
