I saw that many times you wanted to see the remove on child sites and then share that. Then the detailed log :).

You can find it here https://jfb-stiftung.de/wp-content/plugins/threewp-broadcast//ThreeWP_Broadcast.php.93ee63d2.debug.html

I just tested broadcasting an event with TEC v6.0.6.2 and it broadcasted just fine. It showed up on the backend and on the frontend with the 2019 theme.

So if you can see it on the backend (it looked fine in the debug text) but not on the front end, then perhaps there is something miscaching the events?

I suggest selectively disabling plugins until the event shows up.

Can not explain where the error lies. Cache etc all cleared. Elementor is up to date.
Do you think updating permalinks will do anything? Or any other idea?

    Good morning edward_plainview,
I have just tested manually creating an appointment in the child page. The appointment appears directly on the page. Maybe a broadcast problem after all?

On blog posts i have the same issues. Manual posts will be shown, but not the broadcastet once.

There is obviously a conflict with some plugin somewhere. If you were to broadcast a normal post on a clean network install, the posts should show.

Even broadcast Events should show just fine. Otherwise I’d be getting hundreds and hundreds of complaints about BC not working on broadcasted posts.

To diagnose this, I would start on a clean install. Install BC and broadcast posts. When that works, I’d add a plugin and try broadcasting. And then another plugin.

When broadcasting stops working, that’s when you’ve found the guilty plugin.

Can’t find an error unfortunately. The blog posts work, only the events from The Events Calendar. What ran here is the migration to the new system or V2 template.

In debug mode there are no errors that deliver anything meaningful.

I bought the “Broadcast 3rd Party Pack”, but I think that there are problems with The Events Calendar. Manually created events at parent and child sites work fine, only shared events are not displayed.

    Any idea?

You’re right! They have apparently migrated their data storage to some v2 thing (of course) and the event is no longer visible on the front end – but it exists on the backend.

I’ll have a dig through the db to see if I can find what they’ve broken.

I see it! They’re now storing their event data in external tables. I’ll get to work on this right now.

In the meantime, since I’ll be needing someone (you) to test the changes to the broadcast code, could you e-mail me at edward@plainviewplugins so I can send you beta versions to test?

Hello, yes of course. I will be very happy to help you. Email is on the way ??

    Hey Edward,

the beta version is perfectly working.

For people with the same problems: After updating to the new version, I had to unlink the events (so delete the child events) and re-broadcast them. Worked great.

    Thanks a lot Edward.

I’ll add the fix to the next version of the pack and release it this weekend.
