Broadcast queue not processing after v48.03 update

After updating to v48.03 we are experiencing posts not processing in the broadcast queue. The following error seems to be the cause.

The queue says “Zero of 1 items are ready.”.

We are running:

PHP 8 (8.0.8)
WordPress 5.8.2
Broadcast 48.03
Broadcast Efficiency Pack 48.01
