Broadcast keeps rolling – left for 12 hours!

    Hi,
    The Broadcast keeps rolling and I left it for 12 hours!
    I have cancelled it and ran it again via the Queue but still it keeps rolling.
    I am broadcasting a slight change to the homepage to 260 sites.
    It says:

    Processing Queue…

    Retrying in 10 seconds…

    (countdown)

    Processing Queue…

    Retrying in 10 seconds…

    (countdown)

    Etc

    From the Queue add-on’s page:

    Why is the queue not being processed properly?

    If you find a post is not disappearing from the queue after being processed, it’s probably due to an error during broadcasting.

    In order to find out what the problem is:

    – disable automatic processing of the queue in the settings
    – enable WP_DEBUG
    – enable Broadcast debug to browser mode
    – manually process the item in the queue

    You should see a long debug text. An error message should appear at the end, telling you what is wrong.

    Because that’s not right. You should, if WP_DEBUG is enabled, be presented with a PHP fatal error message of some kind, telling you why WordPress died.

    I think the easiest course of action would to allow me to log in and take a look at the queue myself, if possible.

    Just in case we both forget about this thread, the problem was the Slider Revolution add-on that was causing an error, somewhere, and WordPress wouldn’t tell us what it was.

    This was visible by the debug dump getting cut off as soon as the add-on detected images for it to store.

    Would be nice to figure out why it got aborted that like, without any error message at all.
