Bringing forum page onto the home page

  • I am working on a site, https://euromura.com/ that is using Salutation theme that uses buddypress for forums. You can find forum page under Community tab.

    I need to have a list of Latest and Most Popular topics on the home page. For visual clue, I want it to work like this site: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/ on the home page you can see the list.

    It seems I just need to recreate the forum page inside the home page, and change the layout as well. The question is how to do this?
    (It might need only a shortcode to place on the home page, but I can’t find it)
