• Dear WordPress developers,

Please bring back image padding and border options that have been a great part of WordPress through 3.8 and disappeared in 3.9.

I use the Advanced Image Styles plugin and it does the job, but this is a basic feature that all web creatives need. Can’t imagine why this was taken out. I’m begging you to restore as soon as possible.

It was removed because in order to be updated the media modal was totally rewritten. It was not possible to put it back in exactly, and at this time, we’re leaving it out and you need to use a plugin.

Keep in mind, if you need to edit the border and padding on every image you edit, you may want to consider changing your CSS to do it for you so you can save time.

I installed the Advanced Image Styles Plugin. Thank you for that information.
